The Seven Kingdoms

1) Assyria
2) Egypt
3) Babylon
4) Medes-Persians
5) Greece
6) Rome
7) Revised Rome

The 10 kingdoms come from a division of the Revised Roman empire that is not clearly revealed in Scripture although there is no shortage od speculation. From within the Revised Rome will come this vile person that we know as the antichrist and all the things we see in Daniel will come to pass in this man as he confirms the covenant that is somewhere in this world in existence for a seven, he does this deceitfully as a political ploy and in the midst of this seven, he will halt the daily sacrifices that had started back up and the Great Tribulation will begin. Because we know of the things that are happening around this seven, there will be strong delusion on all who want to be deceived (2Th 2), and this vile person will try to change times as he sets himself up by flatteries and lies magnifying himself above God.

Again, let's take another look at what Jesus says. Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. When we see this it should become clear that this will not be a happy time on the earth, yet we must also see that the return of Jesus sneaks up on the main populace of the world. Jesus uses such terms as As in the days of Noah, so also shall the coming of the Son of man be, and He uses the term As in the days of Lot. Paul uses the term as does Peter of His return as a thief in the night. The whole earth will basically be carrying on life as normal up to the return of Jesus, His Parousia. The Great Tribulation will be a time of deception, a time of evil that will not be discerned, a time of accepting the mark to buy and sell, a time when the Lord will do what He has always done, protect the church. Yes, the 6 seals will begin at the confirming of the seven year covenant, but there is not much difference in famine from famine or death from death. Is there an increase? Certainly! Is there lawlessness? Certainly! The world will fight and keep at each others throats attempting to become super powers and show up others and the intrigue will be very real. The focal point must be Israel and what is happening with Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Ethiopia, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Saudi Arabia wherever Islam and Hinduism exist. Indonesia and China and other countries will get worse, North Korea and North Vietnam will unite. Russia is already warring against Chechnya, part of themselves. Pay attention to the Middle East!

The Great Tribulation will have the trumpet judgments, yet when you look at each individual judgment, it may be an increase of destruction but it will not be out of the ordinary for the time. The Lord is awaiting His Parousia, after His bride is complete in number (He 11:39-40), and to deliver Jerusalem. The Lord has not appointed His bride to wrath and He will call His bride forth from the earth before He pours out His wrath on the earth to complete the seven of Jeremiah that Daniel is given understanding about. Yes, there is a false prophet running arouind who will promote the mark of the beast or antichrist, and there will be an ecumenical movement that will drop their beliefs for the sake of a false forgiveness and a false peace. During this time many will make decisions, drastic decisions. The Lord will call forth His bride, pure and spotless united with the Groom to embrace and be with Him forevermore. Thus will we be with the Lord. Now the Spirit and the bride say to Jesus, "COME!"
