Can Allendale be Resurrected?

This Sunday will expose millions of people clothed with "easter" garb and searching for rabbit eggs. The world hallows in diverse ways this holiday. How about you? Do you celebrate the goddess of sex, "easter"?
My Bible reveals Jesus Christ as Lord, the Son of God for whom the grave could not hold, and the sting of death could not harm. Jesus rose on a Sunday, and because of His resurrection we now have the chance to repent of our sins and walk in newness of life. Woefully, the plurality of the church with the world, united truth with lies, practice of the patriarchs with the devil's untruths is destroying this eternal fact.
Man has produced doctrine to make the heart feel better, so that we may stay in our sins, and believe we're okay. Allendale faces this reality.
Repentance of sin is essential to washing away our sins. Asking God to forgive does nothing to our sin. We must sorrowfully confess our sins! Godly sorrow produces repentance. Then we go and sin no more.
Jesus proclaimed, "Woe unto you Bethsaida! Woe unto you Chorazin!" If the miracles that have been performed in those towns were done in a Gentile town, they would have repented. The same is true of our town, Allendale. Allendale is a sin stained town full of idol worship, teen pregnancies, rape, robbery, drugs, murder, and race hatred. The church is preaching heart feel-good messages. "Woe unto you Allendale!"
Highway 301 was Allendale's salvation, but then came I95! Allendale nearly died a partial birth abortion. She lusted after the prison, her new redeemer. But the sewer moratorium shows the lack of leadership since 1988 which has cost lost industry! Now, our needed welfare reform will result in lost millions in our economy. This will finish Allendale.
Jesus' first message was, "Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand." But Allendale, has not listened. The Lord's voice has been heard so infrequently of late and those with God's message have been run off by the church people of Allendale, that the hope of Allendale rising from sure death is impossible. Fellow ministers, are you preaching the truth and addressing the issues that affect out lives?
Jesus will not raise a sinner to continue in his sin, and most surely, He won't raise Allendale to continue in her sins of the past. The message of repentance must be preached from every pulpit and by every Christian, but this is no guarantee that Allendale will repent. Remember that repentance is freewill!
Mary met Jesus outside the tomb that He had been buried! But He did not guarantee that towns wouldn't die and people suffer. In a few years, some richman may come to Allendale and purchase the whole county for two million. Allendale must be looking for Jesus as Mary was seeking Him. Attitudes and hatred and the rest of her sin must be brought to the only Person who can wash her clean, Jesus!
If Allendale doesn't awake from her sin stupor, her hypnotic spell, her raise the taxes attitude, she will surely be buried to rise no more! Her potential remains, but her problems have collapsed all this skill. As a community, Allendale, we must all repent. Jesus surely rose from the dead, will Allendale?
